Faculty and Staff

Sarah Fletcher

Sarah has an English degree from Hillsdale College, a Classical Christian college in Michigan. She spent six years teaching fourth grade at a classical public charter academy within the Great Hearts Arizona network. After moving to Central Illinois, she classically educated her four children and taught in a local co-op, before helping establish WHA in 2024.

Sarah also teaches our combined Kindergarten & First Grade class.

Ella Edelman

Ella earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Purdue University - Fort Wayne. Before joining the WHA faculty, she taught in local public schools, and served as a missionary in Mexico. Her classically inspired homeschool education fostered a deep love for literature and lifelong learning. She hopes to model and instill these virtuous behaviors in her students.
